Party setup:

• Please bring painters tape if you plan to put up additional decorations.

• Please let us know ahead of time if you need to refrigerate anything and let us know the quantity.

Participants:

• Clothing - Participants must take their shoes off when standing on the gym mats. Socks are optional, but can be slippery on the gym mats. Wear clothes that are comfortable for activities and movement. No jewelry or pins of any kind. Piercings should be bandaged.

• Water - Each participant should bring a water bottle for use during martial arts instruction and drills.

As a birthday party venue, we provide fun experiences, not childcare.

We will not take attendance or otherwise be able to ensure the whereabouts of a child. They will be observed and cared for while at the party.

Children under 10 will need to accompanied by an adult for drop off, the duration of the party, and pickup. This can be the parent/guardian of another child at the party.

Any child 10 or over who is taking themselves to or from the birthday will need a parent/guardian to provide explicit permission via email prior to the day of the party. Children coming and going on their own need to tell One With Heart staff when they arrive and when they leave.

At least one parent/guardian must be present for the duration of the party. Parents/guardians in charge of a child should stay in or near the building, and should provide their phone number to staff in case of emergencies.

• All glitter or confetti.

• Messy or sticky foods including, but not limited to: soda or juice in open containers for younger children, chewing gum. 

• Weapons of any kind are not allowed at One With heart during birthday parties.

You will be charged your deposit immediately when scheduling a party. The full amount for your party is due upon arrival to One With Heart on the day of your party.

Any unexpected charges such as a leaving late fee or damage fee will be charged to you after the party is over and can be charged up to 60 days after you leave, in case we need any damage professionally assessed. You will be notified of such charges.

If you need to reschedule, your deposit will be held as credit; you will not have to pay another deposit. Rescheduling can take place with no fees up to 7 days before your party. At 6 days before your party, there will be a $75 dollar rescheduling fee additional to the deposit.

Rescheduling is not allowed within 24 hours of your event; within 24 hours the party can only be cancelled and cancellations fees will apply.

There is no cancellation fee as long as we receive notice 7 or more days prior to your party. If you cancel with 7 days or less, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $100.

If One With Heart is no longer able to accommodate your party, you will not be charged for your party and will have the option to hold your deposit for another day or to receive a refund.

Deposits are non-refundable 24 hours after purchase. If the party would be held within those 24 hours, the deposit is non-refundable.

The party may be cancelled without additional charge if cancelled 7 or more days prior to the day of the party.  

Damage fees will occur when our property is damaged outside our reasonable assumption of risk. We understand that the nature of a martial arts party is to have fun and to hit things, so small damages are built into our business model, and you will not be charged for normal wear and tear.

Charges may occur with larger or more expensive damage (broken windows, graffiti, excessively damaged equipment, etc.). Any damage occurring from partygoers' intentionally destructive or reckless behavior will be covered by you or your attendees.

In order for staff to clean up, prepare for the next party, and take their breaks as mandated by law, party hosts are required to begin and end their parties on time.

A late fee of $5 per minute will be charged to hosts leaving One With Heart after their scheduled departure time.
