Happy New Year!

I am so excited to welcome you all back to training in the new year. I hope each and every one of you has had a great holiday time filled with joy. The New Year marks a time of transition for us all. Here at One With Heart, new beginnings are everywhere.

Our new staff is settling into their roles and I feel incredibly supported by each of them. If you haven’t yet, I hope you get a chance to meet them all soon.

Mas Shelby (they/them) is excelling at their new role as Program Coordinator. As a Black Belt, their dedication and expertise to the school and the students is an invaluable resource for us all.

Emme (she/they) is our new Program Coordinator Assistant. Their smiling face is the first thing you will likely encounter when you come through the doors. Emme brings a joyful, smiling presence to the front of the school. If you want to see some amazing art, just ask Emme, she is creative and crafty and anything knitted she is wearing, she made herself!

Mac (she/her) is the new TASPP assistant. She comes with a background in Montessori education and a calm that centers any room she walks into. Mas Mac has also started training this month. She is on a steep learning curve and she is riding that wave with grace and calm.

We are all pitching in to help cover for Mas Devin as he is out, but, as the Training Coordinator, he has been doing a great job of teaching and supporting the students directly with testing and coordinating all of the roster reviews.

As always, we are so blessed to have Mas Guru Agung Janesa (she/her) continue on as our Head Teacher. It is an honor to support her in doing what she loves most, Teaching, advising and working to grow the next generation of teachers. I am very grateful for her continued presence in the school and look forward to years of continued training to come.

Welcome to the New Year all! May it be filled with love, joy and peace for us all!

-Mas Quinn
