Join us August 22-24 for a 3-day Silat Suffian Bela Diri (SSBD) seminar taught by Maul Mornie! Cikgu Maul will demonstrate advanced Silat techniques for weapons like the knife and machete, as well as movements like sweeps and takedowns. Whether you register for one day or all three, this seminar is a fantastic way to take your Silat training to the next level. It is open to all martial artists aged 16 and up.

Silat Suffian Bela Diri is a martial art that focuses primarily on bladed combat. In this art, practitioners learn how to effectively move, position themselves, and defend against an opponent wielding a blade.
Seminar for ages 16+ only. -
REQUIRED: Training clothes, eye protection, groin protection, knee pads.
Training swords, machetes, and knives will be available for sale, along with SSBD and SSBD Oregon merchandise.
You can bring your own training weapons; NO LIVE WEAPONS ALLOWED.

“Hello, my name is Maul Mornie. I am originally from Brunei but was living in the UK for more than 20 years. Before moving back to Brunei again in 2019.
I am the founder of Silat Suffian Bela Diri (SSBD), a martial arts system that originates from Brunei. It has been taught openly and widely accepted around the world, attracting people of different ages, genders, and martial arts backgrounds.”
